Hello! I never thought I'd write a blog, but then this Year in my life turned out to be a ridiculously eventful one, so I just wanted to record some of the things I am up to so that I can remember them when I'm back living in Woking!
To give a bit of a background, I'm Joe, a 25 year old Primary school teacher who currently lives in Woking with my fiance Hannah who is also a teacher and is 26. We are currently in the process of putting the finishing touches to our Wedding preparations then we will be moving abroad to go and teach in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.
These are the portaloos from my wedding. It's in 3 days time and has taken a massive amount of organisation. The Marquee looks incredible too and I can't wait. I'm not feeling nervous at all about the actual day (definitely made right choice in partner) but I just hope all the stress dies down so I can enjoy the day.
Mixed in with this, we are going to be moving to Malaysia in a couple of weeks, so we are going to have a very short little "Minniemoon" in London before flying over (Emirates not Malaysia Air). This will be exciting although I am a bit nervous about settling into my new school.
I'll write more about what we are doing and where we are going in a future post but this one, I just wanted to focus on our upcoming wedding!
We've decided against tradition and want to sit right in the middle of everyone at our wedding so we are in the middle of the action. Hannah and I have practiced our dance a lot of times, but haven't managed to find somewhere big enough to practice it properly yet!
We both wanted the wedding to be really personal so we are getting friends to play music and DJ the event. I know nothing about what hey have planned, so can't wait to see!
